There is a regular Coach service from London via Birmingham to Llanidloes. National Express

The nearest railway station is Caersws which is about 13 miles away or Newtown which is about 17 miles away. Local taxi firms are happy to collect you from the station.

Llanidloes has express coaches and a regular bus service to the station at Newtown.

To Cwm Deildre from Llanidloes, which is four miles away, you will need to use the local taxi services who are happy to oblige.

Walking the local trails

Glyndwr's Way passes close to Cwm Deildre and there are various other footpaths and bridleways to take you around the Clywedog Lake or Hafren Forest accessed directly from the cottage.  If you want to venture further afield P and C Taxis can organise drop off and pick up service along sections of the Severn Way, Glyndwr's Way, the Wye Valley Walk or other local trails.

By Car

Stick a pin in the middle of a map of Wales and you will find Llanidloes. It is on the A470.

From the M4 take J24 up the A449 to Raglan
The A40 through Abergavenny and Crickhowell
The A479 to Talgarth
The A470 to Builth Wells, Rhayader,LLangurig and Llanidloes.
