Cwm Deildre Circular Walks

Looking down on Clywedog dam Aberdaunant and Llyn Clywedog


R out of drive through double gates, * follow track
R at field, down through gate, over footbridge, through gate (by sheds)
Through gate, bear R (river on R)(wild raspberries)
Track turns L away from river to a gate at the top.
Bear diagonally R to farm gate (lovely views behind you)
R along farm track (this is not a ROW but by special permission of the farmer)
Through farm gate, through gate at cattle grid to council road
Turn R, through 2 more gates to brow of hill and view of the lake
Down hill (L to viewing point and info re Dam and Café)
(Pass signs to Mine on L)
Looking towards Llanidloes from the Clywedog Dam At the bottom R down through gated tarmac road
Immediately R across field and through gateway to next field (footpath)
Bear L to trees at the bottom (deviating from public path)
Over foot bridge to home paddock
Back through gate on R to * above and follow track home.
