Cwm Deildre Circular Walks

Lower Cefn Penarth and The Glyn (Mainly tarmac except for a short track and a footbridge)

L out of drive, through gate in dip, * R through gate on bend and L at top gate (Up hill and down)
2nd L (marked bridle way) and immediately R through gate into field
Keep L around field boundary to gate onto track (at the end of the trees)
L down hill nearly to the bottom
L along green track bordered by trees to the river
Over footbridge, R to join main track
L through woods to The Glyn
(the bridle way goes R but there is a path straight on which is used)
L at the main road, over bridge over the Clywedog
L into gated road **
Follow road up the hill through 2 more gates to * above and
Retrace steps home.

** Alternate route home
Immediately R across field and through gateway to next field (footpath)
Bear L to trees at the bottom (deviating from public path)
Over foot bridge to home paddock
Back through gate on R to gateway at top
L on to track and down through double gates to home.
